Cosmetics A la Carte 40th Anniversary

40 years in any business is worth celebrating. Cosmetics A la Carte celebrated their 40th Anniversary in true style, they brought their West End glamour to the heart of the East End for their launch this week.

Curator Ryan Lanji thought it fitting to bring the make up innovators to the centre of innovation.

Amoungst the cosmetics, press clippings and other ephemera are amazing sculptures by Alex Noble and new illustration from a selection of illustration students and more established designers from the London College of Fashion.

Samson Soboye was proud to have photographic images included in the exhibition that were the only photographic examples showing make-up in the exhibition. The collaborative project was photographed by Armin Weisheit with Nora Nona providing the art direction and make-up, and Barbara Jablonska providing the hairdressing.
Lynne Sanders said they were some of the most exciting images she’s ever seen!
