At SOBOYE we are head over heels for Finsk
Launched in 2004 by London based, Finnish born Julia Lundsten. Julia is a design hybrid, born to an architect father and interior designer mother. Her cultivated eye is apparent in her architecturally designed shoe line.
The Finsk shoe sure does give the “stacked-heel” a run for its money!! She cleverly uses contrasting leathers and wooden sculptured heels to create design masterpieces. Shapes are inspired by a mélange of architecture, including buildings and furniture details as well as structures found in nature.
At SOBOYE we love that the production of Finsk is as ethical as possible and all leathers used in Lundsten’s designs are by-products of other industries. The natural beauty of locally sourced materials is a significant component of each collection, each pair of shoes being handcrafted in an atelier in Brazil.

Emma Lundgren Christmas Window at SOBOYE
SOBOYE introduces Shoreditch to Emma Lundgren, a London based textile designer from Sweden.
It was Emma’s sense of playfulness that attracted Samson that along with her combination of handcraft and digital techniques which create an aesthetic with unexpected materials!
The SAMILIGHT window for SOBOYE has been inspired by 3 unique icons in her Scandinavian heritage: traditional Sami costume; sweep effects of the Northern Lights and the futuristic Esrange Space in the Sami historical territory of Lapland!
